This just might be the most effective French toast you’ll ever have! This tastes sort of a big sticky cinnamon bun. I used Texas toast instead of egg bread for this and it worked well. You can use half and half rather than whipping cream. This recipe serves two individuals double or triple the recipe to serve additional. Although I even have not tried it as however, if you propose on doubling the recipe, I would guess you could use half maple syrup and half pancake syrup due to price factor. When I doubled the recipe, I used 2 cups of maple syrup, one cup whipping cream and one cup half and half
1 cup pure maple syrup
5 tablespoons butter, additional if needed (no subs)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 large eggs
one cup whipping cream, unwhipped (will use half and 0.5 cream as opposed to whipping cream or use one/2 cup every)
two 1/four teaspoons vanilla
4-5 slices egg bread (concerning 1-in. thick)
confectioners’ sugar (optional)
Directions:
In an exceedingly saucepan bring the maple syrup, 1 tablespoon butter and one teaspoon cinnamon to a boil; boil for two minutes.
During a bowl whisk eggs, whipping cream, vanilla, 3 tablespoons maple syrup mixture and also the remaining one teaspoon cinnamon.
